Today with project A04 we watch how health care systems have gradually spread around the world. A fascinating time travel starting in 1874 with some surprising patterns.

The global introduction of health care systems

Project A04 examines the conditions under which health and long-term care systems have spread worldwide. The aim of the project is to trace the emergence of different types of health care and long-term care systems globally and to explain why similarities and differences between these national systems are structured.

Just observing the gradual introduction of health care systems worldwide is fascinating and sometimes very surprising, such as in this short video:
